Valerie Bertinelli isn't afraid to say what she thinks.

The Hot in Cleveland actress shared a TikTok on October 10 talking about the unnecessary bullying other content creators face on the social media app. In the clip, the Food Network star started off by saying she didn't want to "start any wars" but that she thought the hate and mean comments folks dealt with on the app was terrible when the platform has helped her heal and interact with other "kind, fun people."

She captioned the clip, "Be nice. I may delete this later." But not everyone was. "How many filters do you have on your camera? You're how old? 50? 60?" one individual responded. And Valerie wasn't having it.

"Just what I was talking about," she said in a follow-up TikTok responding to the comment. "It's just one filter ... and I am 62." The TV personality then gave another direct message ... well, with her hand. Check it out above!

Fans of the One Day at a Time alum absolutely loved it. "And 62 looks good on you sis!! 🥰 Haters gonna hate 😌," wrote one person. "Tell ‘em, Valerie 👏👏👏," commented someone else. "OMG you’re adorable and look amazing. I’m sorry people are cruel because they hide behind anonymity," said another.

Despite Valerie's candid reaction to the TikTok user's comment, she continuously encourages her followers to be emphatic toward others. In a new Instagram video series titled "Enough Already," she offers inspirational words about life. Her most recent installment, posted on October 19, called for kindness and consideration.

"Enough already. Going forward treat yourself with compassion and understand that you aren't perfect and that no one else is perfect either," she said in the snippet. "That's what it means to be human."

Valerie continued: "Everyone carries around some form of hurt and suffering. Take time to treat everyone the way that you want to be treated — with compassion and treat yourself that way too."
