Foodies flock to fair for fried favorites. Check out this year's Tulare County Fair menu

The Tulare County Fair is back, and so are the iconic fried fair foods residents have come to know and love.

From funnel cakes and kettle corn to doughnut burgers and waffle chicken sandwiches, the fair is offering the classics and new treats.

Here's a list of some fair foods to be on the lookout for at the 2022 Tulare County Fair:

Funnel cake – A notorious fair food, funnel cake is fried dough topped with fresh fruit, chocolate drizzle or powdered sugar.  

Cinnamon roll – These gooey, delicious pastries are topped with creamy icing.  

Kettle corn – Sweet popcorn, sometimes topped with chocolate, is a tasty dessert, perfect for long lines, watching a show or even the walk back to the car.

Cotton candy – An iconic fair treat, ideal for snacking on while waiting in line for rides. A napkin is recommended for this sticky, sweet treat.

Ice cream – The fair is offering a plethora of ice cream options, including waffle cones and even gold-dipped ice cream.

Dippin' Dots – Perfect for hot weather, this ice cream snack is sure to cool you down while also satisfying any sweet cravings.

Bacon wrapped hot dog – A savory delight, these hotdogs are made even tastier when wrapped in bacon and tossed on the grill.

Doughnut burger – This meal is a match made in heaven and could be eaten for dinner or dessert. Sweet and savory in every bite.

Waffle chicken sandwich – On top of offering regular chicken sandwiches, the fair is offering waffle chicken sandwiches, bringing the sit-down breakfast classic into the hands of fairgoers.

Dragon fries – French fries topped with shredded cheese, bacon bits, crispy chicken, spicy mayo and jalapenos. Perfectly spicy.
