BRAD EDWARDS: People are returning to the Loop, and a new report from the Chicago Loop Alliance proves it. Foot traffic is up to about 45% of normal. The amount of people in offices broke 20% of normal for the first time since the pandemic, and commuter parking in the Loop up around 56%. Even more people are coming in in the next couple of months. BMO Harris, JPMorgan, and Citadel are bringing workers back downtown in June and July.
