Footage shows water cascading from penthouse pool after earthquake slams Philippines
Terrifying footage captured the moment the contents of a penthouse pool cascaded down the side of a luxury high-rise building after a violent earthquake shook the Phillippines on Monday.
Multiple videos shared on Facebook by Michael Rivo show massive waterfalls originating from a 25-meter-long lap pool at Anchor Skysuites raining down on the ground below.
The building, located in the Binondo district of the Filipino capital city Manila, stands at over 625 feet tall and houses over 346 condominiums, according to its website.
Two major earthquakes have rocked the Phillippines over the past 48 hours, along with a reported 52 aftershocks.
Monday's quake, which registered a 6.1 magnitude and struck near the town of Bodega on the island of Luzon, left 11 people dead and dozens more feared trapped in a collapsed supermarket, CNN reports.
On Tuesday, a 6.3 earthquake was registered on the island of Samar in central Philippines. No immediate damages were reported.
