LANSING -- Down 13 at halftime, the Orioles completed a second-half comeback to stay undefeated with a CAAC White road win over Lansing Catholic. Braden Hill ran for a team-high 91 yards and had 42 yards receiving, while Devon Eaton and Ben Buzzard each scored rushing touchdowns for Charlotte (3-0, 1-0). Alex Fernandez threw for a game-high 113 yards, Ty Rakan had 75 yards receiving and Nic Gruber scored a rushing touchdown for the Cougars (0-3, 0-1).

SEXTON 18, IONIA 14

IONIA -- Devon Hodges-Smith had a 40-yard punt return for a touchdown and Dai'john Chandler added a rushing score for Sexton in a CAAC White road win over Ionia. John Douglas had 85 yards rushing, while Marcus Glynn had nine tackles for Sexton (2-1, 1-0). Travis Tucker ran for a team-high 66 yards and Brennan Brownell had a pair of rushing scores for the Bulldogs (1-2, 0-1).

HASLETT 63, ST. JOHNS 14

HASLETT -- Kory Amachree ran for 101 yards and a score and hauled in three receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown to help the Vikings to a CAAC Red home win over St. Johns. Nakai Amachree racked up three rushing scores in the first half and Isaac Pavona added 67 yards rushing and a touchdown for Haslett (2-1, 1-0). Mark Bendele ran for a team-high 105 yards and a touchdown and Brody Dush tacked on a rushing score for the Redwings (0-3, 0-1).

DETROIT CATHOLIC CENTRAL 45, DeWITT 38 (OT)

NOVI -- The Panthers were able to tie the game up in the final minute with a touchdown pass from Aspen Keyes to Bryce Kurncz, but fell short in overtime in a nonleague loss to Detroit Catholic Central (2-1). Kurncz led the Panthers with 211 yards rushing, 105 yards receiving and 75 yards passing with four total touchdowns. Keyes threw for a team-high 141 yards and three scores and Blake Haller ran for 51 yards and a touchdown for DeWitt (2-1).

PEWAMO-WESTPHALIA 51, DANSVILLE 8

DANSVILLE -- The Pirates put up 37 points in the first half en route to a road CMAC victory over Dansville. Troy Werman threw for 131 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 161 yards with three scores. Trevor Smith and Dylan May each had receiving touchdowns and Grant Pohl had a 30-yard interception return for a score for Pewamo-Westphalia (2-1, 2-0). Trent Ackerson threw for 66 yards and a score and Cody Ream pulled down a receiving touchdown for the Aggies (2-1, 1-1).

WILLIAMSTON 41, EASTERN 8

LANSING -- Alex Petersburg led the Hornets with a game-high 139 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and four total touchdowns as Williamston secured a CAAC Red win over Eastern (0-3, 0-1). Ollie Brown ran for 81 yards, Caleb Hammond added a rushing touchdown and Zach Cribbs and Joey Mahaney each chipped in a receiving score for Williamston (3-0, 1-0).

MASON 55, FOWLERVILLE 20

MASON -- Cason Carswell threw for 273 yards and four touchdowns, while Colin Page had five catches for 171 yards and three scores, and added a kick return for a score and an interception for the Bulldogs in their CAAC Red-opening win over Fowlerville. AJ Martel rushed for 107 yards and three score for Mason (3-0, 1-0). Sam Corey paced the Bulldog defense with six tackles.

EAST LANSING 77, OKEMOS 0

OKEMOS -- Eight different Trojans scored for East Lansing en route to a CAAC Blue victory over Okemos (0-3, 0-1). Kanye Jackson ran for a team-high 61 yards and three touchdowns, Noah Lopez ran in two touchdowns and Jace Clarizio, Kynon Shropshire, Tyson Smith each tacked on a rushing score for East Lansing (3-0, 1-0).

OLIVET 44, STOCKBRIDGE 8

OLIVET -- Bo Lincoln threw for 92 yards and a score, ran in a touchdown and had two interception returns for touchdowns including a 40-yard return for a score as the Eagles picked up a GLAC win over Stockbridge. Ramsey Bousseau, Jake Miller and Ty Evert each ran in a touchdown and Brody Lehman hauled in a receiving touchdown for Olivet (2-1, 1-0). Jalen Rogozinski threw for 66 yards and a touchdown for the Panthers (2-1, 0-1). JV score: Olivet 52, Stockbridge 14

FOWLER 35, BATH 0

BATH -- Quarterback Hudson Schlak led the Eagles with 94 yards rushing and 93 yards passing to go with two total touchdowns to push Fowler to a CMAC victory over Bath (2-1, 1-1). John Ruiz tallied nine carries for 57 yards and a touchdown, Zach Halfmann picked up 50 yards rushing with a score and Carter Lance grabbed three receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown for Fowler (3-0, 1-0). Carson Sillman led the Eagles’ defense with seven tackles. JV score: Fowler 55, Bath 12

LAINGSBURG -- Quarterback Ty Randall led the Wolfpack, going 15 for 21 passing with 231 yards and three touchdowns in their CMAC home win over Potterville (0-3, 0-2). Mikey Brooks ran for a team-high 108 yards with two touchdowns, Jack Borgman added six receptions for 100 yards and two scores and Eli Woodruff had five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown for Laingsburg (1-2, 1-1).

LAKEWOOD 40, LESLIE 20

LAKE ODESSA -- Nathan Willette ran for a team-high 114 yards and two touchdowns and threw for 54 yards to help guide the Vikings to a GLAC home victory over Leslie. Montreal Reid picked up 103 yards rushing to go with two touchdowns and Cole Anderson added on 84 yards and two scores for Lakewood (2-1, 1-0). Jayden Colby threw for a game-high 222 yards passing and two rushing touchdowns and Max Fourman racked up a team-high 107 yards receiving on five receptions for the Blackhawks (0-3, 0-1).

MAPLE VALLEY 65, VANDERCOOK LAKE 0

JACKSON -- Cayden Scott led the Lions with a game-high 142 yards rushing and two touchdowns as Maple Valley secured a Tri River 8 victory over Vandercook Lake (0-3, 0-1). Callan Hoefler ran back a 45-yard punt return for a score and a rushing touchdown, Tyler Rose ran in a pair of touchdowns and Ayden Wilkes and Reese Proctor-Burhans each tallied a rushing score for Maple Valley (1-2, 1-0).

SARANAC 32, PERRY 14

PERRY -- Maddox Foster ran for a team-high 84 yards and a touchdown as the Red Hawks secured a nonleague road win over Perry. Sam Sterzick threw for 66 yards and a touchdown, Warren Hill ran for 63 yards and Chase Stephens tallied 58 yards receiving, 41 yards rushing and two total touchdowns to go with two interceptions on defense for Saranac (1-2). Quarterback Austin Poirier threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 56 yards. Rease Teel pulled down six receptions for 128 yards and two scores for the Ramblers (2-1).

ITHACA 48, SAGINAW NOUVEL 6

Bronson Bupp completed 10 of 14 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a pair of scores for the Yellowjackets (2-1) in their win. Ethan Hull had four catches for 120 yards and two touchdowns, while Nathan Mikesell had three TD runs for Ithaca.

DURAND 28, OVID-ELSIE 22

ELSIE -- Colin Veith threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns as the Marauders fell just short in a MMAC defeat to undefeated Durand (3-0, 2-0). Clay Wittenberg picked up 117 yards receiving on five receptions to go with a score, Logan Thompson grabbed a receiving score and Jamison Custer added on a rushing touchdown for Ovid-Elsie (1-2, 1-1).
