DEFENSIVE PLAYERS TO WATCH

Ty Cherry, OLB, Jr.; Joseph Griswold, CB, Sr.; AJ Streeter, CB, Sr.; Cory Eaton, DL, Sr.; Collin Schrader, DL, Sr.; Nate Morrow, LB, Sr.

TEAM STRENGTHS

The Mustangs have great depth at the skill positions, and Griswold and Streeter could be one of the most electric QB-WR duos in Class 4A. They will be a huge part of the offense's success this season.

AREAS TO IMPROVE

Oologah has only eight seniors on the roster, so underclassmen will have to step up early and often. It is particularly inexperienced on the offensive and defensive lines.

COACH SAID

"We feel like our sophomore and junior classes can contribute right away. We should have more speed and depth at our skill positions, but we will lack some experience up front on the offensive and defensive line positions. It is important that we improve quickly up front as we always play a tough nondistrict schedule."
