Ford, GlobalFoundries team up to boost chip supply

BRIAN SOZZI: Before we head to break, some breaking news on the semiconductor front. Take a look at shares of semiconductor maker GlobalFoundries, the stock is ripping higher here in the premarket by 21%. The company inked a new deal with Ford. To put it lightly or put it-- just put it as simply as possible, GlobalFoundries will be making more chips for Ford and likely will see a nice cash infusion from this deal. So GlobalFoundries, a stock to watch, [? Harry, ?] after that Ford deal up about 21% in the premarket.
