FORECAST:
Even though fall arrives on Thursday, it may be a while before we have weather that feels fall-like.
Monday will be variably cloudy with highs in the upper 80s. It will get even warmer on Tuesday and Wednesday when highs jump back to the low 90s.
The humidity is expected to increase a tad, but we will not be returning to August humidity levels.
A cold front will move through on Thursday, which is the day fall officially arrives. It brings the best chance of rain for the week.
We will have to wait one more day for the cooler air to arrive as we hit the low 90s once more.
You will feel a difference on Friday and Saturday. It will be dry again and highs will be close to 80.
It will be another stunning day! Great day to play golf! Plenty of sunshine with highs in the low to mid 80s and LOW HUMIDITY!!! Summer will make her return next week unfortunately.... more details on @wsoctv #ncwx #scwx pic.twitter.com/pLHCmoTBFs
