FORECAST: Expect showers, windy conditions Saturday

FORECAST:
There is a slight chance of showers Friday night as the wind begins to pick up ahead of a cold front that will bring some more rain and possibly thunderstorms tomorrow.
Much of the rain will move out of our area by 2 p.m. Saturday.
Winds are expected to be between 15 mph and 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in Charlotte on Saturday.
There is also a High Wind Warning Saturday into Sunday for the mountains, including Avery, Caldwell, and Burke counties.
Winds will be between 25 mph and 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
The high temperature for Charlotte on Saturday will be near 65 and on Sunday, 55.
Sunday will clearly be the more tranquil day this weekend.
Mostly clear conditions kick off the work week.
