Low clouds linger Monday morning, but these should start to clear up into the afternoon.
Temps heat back up to the lower 80s.
A few strong storms are possible late Monday coming off the High Country. These may not be widespread, but they could be quite strong with hail and strong winds.
That activity winds down Monday night and we get back into quiet weather for Tuesday.
The next chance for rain comes back in already by Wednesday and Thursday.
Keep your guard up for some brief strong storms late this afternoon and into the evening. The higher risk is for areas northwest of Charlotte toward Hickory, Lincolnton and Gastonia, but some of these could make it into the metro late.
