The chance of showers is in the forecast over the next few days.
Highs Wednesday will be near 50 degrees and on Thursday, in the mid-40s.
Periods of heavy rainfall could affect the western Carolinas Thursday through Thursday night.
Friday’s high temperature will be close to 50.
Lows will be in the 40s.
Mostly clear skies return Friday with highs near 50.
Saturday will be sunny with a high near 41 degrees.
Clear skies with a low of around 40 are expected Saturday night.
Some clouds are in the forecast for Sunday with a high near 49.
