School delays
Avery County Schools: Due to the impending inclement weather, the Avery County School System will be on a two-hour delay on Thursday, Jan. 26.
FORECAST:
There will be a nice stretch of weather moving in after Wednesday’s downpours.
Skies will start to clear up Wednesday evening.
By Thursday, clear skies return with highs in the low-50s.
Highs will drop into the mid-40s on Friday with abundant sunshine.
Fair conditions continue through the weekend in Charlotte with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s.
