FORECAST: Gloomy weather continues into the weekend; rain expected Sunday

We may experience a few rain showers Sunday, especially in south Charlotte.
Sunshine is expected to move in Monday morning and last through Tuesday.
Wet weather moves back in Wednesday into Thursday morning due to a larger storm making its way through the Plains and the Midwest.
The rain is expected to clear out again Friday.
Dynamics in the atmosphere appear to be coming together that “could” bring some locally heavy rain across parts of our area Wednesday afternoon-night. We should clear out and dry out again Friday and Saturday.
The gloom continues..... at least there's no rain in the forecast today. That will change tomorrow. I'm tracking Sunday's rain chances now on @wsoctv #ncwx #scwx pic.twitter.com/VxFZPGDmny
