FORECAST:

  • Thursday was a gorgeous day, but conditions will change as a cold front arrives later Friday.

  • Clouds are set to increase Friday afternoon in Charlotte.

  • Expect high winds in the region through Saturday.

  • There is a chance of showers and storms Friday night with wind gusts up to 34 mph.

  • More rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast on Saturday.

  • The skies clear up Saturday night.

  • It will remain calm following activity from the cold front as it moves east.

  • Highs on Saturday will be near 80, and on Sunday, near 68.

  • A mix of sun and clouds are in store to start off the work week.
