FORECAST:
Thursday was a gorgeous day, but conditions will change as a cold front arrives later Friday.
Clouds are set to increase Friday afternoon in Charlotte.
Expect high winds in the region through Saturday.
There is a chance of showers and storms Friday night with wind gusts up to 34 mph.
More rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast on Saturday.
The skies clear up Saturday night.
It will remain calm following activity from the cold front as it moves east.
Highs on Saturday will be near 80, and on Sunday, near 68.
A mix of sun and clouds are in store to start off the work week.
