FORECAST: Mostly clear skies ahead of mid-week rain chances

  • Clear conditions will last until Tuesday night.

  • Showers are likely late at night on Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning.

  • The chance of rain continues, along with possible thunderstorms, on Wednesday.

  • Up to a half-inch of rain is expected in the Charlotte area.

  • Lows will dip into the low-30s as clouds clear up Wednesday night.

  • Thursday will be the start of another stretch of mostly clear skies.

  • Highs Thursday and Friday will be in the low-to-mid-50s.

  • Temperatures will reach into the low-60s on Saturday and high 50s on Sunday.

  • There is a 30% chance of rain Sunday night.
