If you’re making plans for Labor Day, don’t cancel anything but be prepared for showers. The skies will be mainly cloudy and it will be muggy.
Those clouds won’t be a bad thing as they limit our highs to the mid-80s.
A shower is possible at any time, but the best chance will be in the typical afternoon and evening time frame.
When you go back to work and school on Tuesday, highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with a 30% chance for showers.
After that, the chance of rain will increase a bit for the rest of the week. Each day will be in the mid-80s with continued high humidity.
There’s a 40% to 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.
A few sprinkles possible for the Around the Crown 10K this morning! Otherwise it will be a comfortable morning for the race. I am tracking more chances for rain this weekend now on @wsoctv #ncwx #scwx pic.twitter.com/B9586T3v8S
