FORECAST: Saturday to bring stormy start to weekend

FORECAST:
The Charlotte area will be under a Wind Advisory on Saturday.
Saturday will bring a stormy start to the day as rain will start to move in around 8 a.m., which is coming from the mountains.
The storm will lose some of its intensity over the mountains, by the time it reaches the metro we will be seeing those thunderstorms cells become more isolated.
Winds are expected to be between 15 mph and 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph in Charlotte on Saturday.
Rain is expected to move out by 2 p.m.
There is also a High Wind Warning Saturday into Sunday for the mountains, including Avery, Caldwell, and Burke counties.
Winds will be between 25 mph and 35 mph with gusts up to 65 mph.
The high temperature for Charlotte on Saturday will be near 65 and on Sunday, 55.
Sunday will clearly be the more tranquil day this weekend.
Mostly clear conditions kick off the work week.
Weather will remain dry and warm up into midweek.
Temperatures will cool down late next week.
