June-style heat is taking over, and we may close in on 90 degrees this weekend.
The good news is that humidity levels are still very tolerable, which will be the case through the weekend.
Now to the bad news: There will be another chance of storms.
Thunderstorms will start firing up between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Saturday.
Storms will march in from the Salisbury area and then move down to Charlotte.
The storms won’t last too long and Sunday will be drier and cooler.
