Forget the Cheesecake Factory: Here are 5 places to get cheesecake in the Fayetteville area

There are plenty of Fayetteville area bakeries and restaurants that serve cheesecake worth raving about — even if the Cheesecake Factory has no plans to open a location here.

New York cheesecake may stand head and shoulders above the rest, but Fayetteville has the right slice, whether you take it wrapped in pizza dough and deep-fried, made with a brownie crust or just plain and simple.

Though not as widely celebrated as a pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, or confetti cake at a birthday party, cheesecake's simple decadence deserves a spot on the table.
