Former Beatle to play at Modesto venue in September. Here’s how to get tickets

Former Beatle Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band are coming to Modesto in September, The Fruit Yard Basi Insurance Nationwide Amphitheatre announced Monday.

Tickets for the Sept. 16 show at The Fruit Yard go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster and will range from $60 to $195, said Cassie Gause, a spokesperson for the amphitheater.

Ringo’s All Starr Band includes Steve Lukather from Toto, Warren Ham, Edgar Winter, Hamish Stuart from Average White Band, Colin Hay from Men at Work and Gregg Bissonette.

With The Beatles and as a solo performer, Starr is known for hits including “With a Little Help From My Friends,” “Octopus’ Garden,” “Photograph,” “It Don’t Come Easy” and “You’re Sixteen (You’re Beautiful and You’re Mine).”

According to the website Setlist.fm, songs played recently by Starr and his All Starr Band have included “It Don’t Come Easy,” “Free Ride” (the Edgar Winter Group), “Pick Up the Pieces” (Average White Band), “Down Under” (Men at Work) and “Yellow Submarine.”

  • July 23- Americana singer-songwriter Parker McCollum (sold out)

  • August 19- pop band Air Supply
