Brookfield Central graduate and St. Thomas men’s basketball player Andrew Rohde announced Monday on Twitter that he will be entering the NCAA transfer portal.

"It has been an honor to play at such a great school and for an even better coaching staff," Rohde's statement said in part about his time at St. Thomas.

"With that, I've made the difficult decision to enter my name into the transfer portal and pursue another basketball opportunity."

Rohde started in all 26 games for the Tommies this season, averaging 17.5 points, 3.7 assists and 3.6 rebounds per game. Rohde originally committed to NCAA Division I St. Thomas in high school over other reported DI scholarship offers from Appalachian State, Bowling Green, DePaul, Illinois-Chicago, UW-Milwaukee, Western Illinois and Western Michigan.

At Brookfield Central, Rohde averaged 28.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists as a senior.
