Former Cincinnati Bearcat Jason Kelce sings national anthem before 76ers game on Monday
Super Bowl Champion, four-time First-team All-Pro, five time Pro Bowler, and now former Cincinnati Bearcats offensive lineman Jason Kelce can add singer to his list of accomplishments.
Before Monday's game featuring the Philadelphia 76ers hosting the Denver Nuggets, the Eagles center was given the honor of singing the national anthem.
He agreed to sing the Star-Spangled-Banner if $100,000 was raised for current Eagles executive, and former UC and NFL teammate, Connor Barwin’s Make The World Better Foundation.
Jason Kelce's won a Super Bowl, given the speech of a lifetime, and is generally a living legend.
But he has to admit... singing the National Anthem before Monday's Sixers game has him shook 😅 pic.twitter.com/kuy3SzDQRJ— NBC Sports Philadelphia (@NBCSPhilly) March 14, 2022
Where did he fall on the spectrum between Roseanne Barr and Whitney Houston? You decide:
Kelce, the Eagles sixth round pick out of UC in 2011, even inspired former Bengal Chad Johnson with his performance.
"Jason Kelce sang the National Anthem at the 76ers game, wonder if Mike Brown would allow me to sing the National Anthem on opening day" Johnson tweeted.
