Former Claymont standout Tyler Warner to join Roanoke wrestling staff

Former Claymont High School wrestling standout and two-time NCAA champion Tyler Warner is joining the coaching staff at Roanoke College in Roanoke, Va.

"We are excited to announce the addition of 2x NCAA Champion Tyler Warner to our coaching staff!," said Roanoke wrestling in a Facebook post. "Tyler will be responsible with helping recruiting and working individually with our lightweights."

Joining Warner at Roanoke will be his fiancé Marah and their son Colsen.

Warner was a five-time Division II All-American at West Liberty, Pitt-Johnstown and Wheeling Jesuit, and was a three-time state champion at Claymont under Coach Eric Toukonen.

Warner is the all-time wins leader at Claymont High School where he compiled an outstanding 166-12 record. He is the only multiple state champion at Claymont and the only three-time multiple state champion in Tuscarawas County history.
