Former Clemson offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter joins Georgia as analyst | Report

Clemson football's former offensive coordinator Brandon Streeter will reportedly join Kirby Smart's staff at Georgia. Streeter has been hired as an offensive analyst, according to UGAsports.com.

Streeter was fired on Jan. 12 at the end of Clemson's 2022-23 season after one season as offensive coordinator. The Tigers were fresh off an 11-3 season and a 31-14 Orange Bowl loss to Tennessee in which the Clemson offense looked ineffective.

Streeter was the first coach Dabo Swinney fired since he dismissed former defensive coordinator Kevin Steele in 2011. Swinney hired TCU's Garrett Riley to replace Streeter as offensive coordinator.

Prior to his promotion to coordinator, Streeter had spent a season as Clemson's quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator. Before that, he was quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator from 2015-19. He is credited with recruiting and coaching big-name Clemson quarterbacks including Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence.

"Brandon Streeter will land on his feet," Swinney said Feb. 1 when introducing Riley. "When we've had changes, guys have moved on to be head coaches and different things. Brandon Streeter's got a great, great future ahead."
