Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard to campaign for Gov. Kristi Noem in Sioux Falls, Rapid City

Former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard will join Gov. Kristi Noem for two campaign stops in Rapid City and Sioux Falls next Wednesday, according to Noem's re-election campaign.

The first rally in Rapid City will take place at 9 a.m. MT at the Holiday Inn Rapid City Downtown Convention Center, according to Noem's campaign. The second rally in Sioux Falls will take place at 6 p.m. CT at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance. Both events are free to the public.

Gabbard, who represented Hawaii as a Democrat and served with Noem while she was in the U.S. House of Representatives, recently left the Democratic Party.

She announced her decision during an episode of her podcast, "The Tulsi Gabbard Show."

Days after, Gabbard was on Megyn Kelly's radio show when Kelly encouraged Tulsi and Noem to run for the White House in 2024.

Gabbard is the second guest coming to campaign for Noem. Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin is scheduled to be at another Noem rally in Sioux Falls the same day.

In the latest poll from Emerson College/The Hill, Noem comfortably led Smith and Quint with 56% of voters favoring the first-term governor.

Election Day is Nov. 8.
