Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Trump White House aide who delivered bombshell testimony to the congressional committee that investigated the Capitol attack on Jan. 6, 2021, has alleged that she was groped by Rudy Giuliani on the day of the riot in Washington.

Hutchinson in her forthcoming book described meeting with Giuliani backstage at former President Donald Trump’s speech before a mob of his supporters breached the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 election. At the speech, Hutchinson said the former New York mayor and Trump attorney put his hand under her skirt, according to the Guardian, which obtained a copy of Hutchinson’s book.

She also alleged that another former Trump ally, John Eastman, was present during the incident. The former aide described Giuliani as a “wolf closing in on its prey.”

“I fight against the tension in my muscles and recoil from Rudy’s grip … filled with rage, I storm through the tent, on yet another quest for Mark,” Hutchinson wrote in her forthcoming book, referencing Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff.

The book will be published next Tuesday in the United States. Excerpts were also published by People on Thursday.

Hutchinson gave dramatic testimony about Trump, Giuliani, Meadows and a slate of other Trump allies before the Jan. 6 committee last year. Hutchinson said Trump wanted to go to the Capitol following his rally on Jan. 6, and he tried to grab the steering wheel of the vehicle he was traveling in to go towards the Capitol building.

The former president has since been charged in a federal investigation and a state investigation in Georgia on accusations that he tried to steal the 2020 election from now-President Joe Biden.

Giuliani was also arrested in Georgia last month and booked on 13 charges related to trying to overturn the 2020 election.

Earlier this year, a former associate of Giuliani also sued him for alleged abuse of power and harassment, claiming he hired her off-the-books for sexual favors.

Ted Goodman, political advisor to Giuliani, said in a statement to USA TODAY: "This is a disgusting lie against Mayor Rudy Giuliani—a man whose distinguished career in public service includes taking down the Mafia, cleaning up New York City and comforting the nation following September 11th."
