Former Eagles S Will Parks claimed off waivers by the Broncos

Will Parks wasn’t unemployed for long and he’s heading back to a familiar place after the Broncos claimed the versatile safety off of waivers after his release from the Philadelphia Eagles.

Mike Kaye of NJ.com is reporting that the Vikings and 49ers were among six teams to put in claims for the talented safety but Denver was able to land his services.

Parks signed a one-year, $1.6 million deal with the Eagles in March and was expected to be a crucial part of their positionless secondary. However, Parks suffered a hamstring injury during the final week of training camp and miss the first month of the season on injured reserve.

The Eagles activated Grayland Arnold to the 53-man roster and are expected to give increased playing time to rookie safety, K’Von Wallace.
