Former Florida Georgia Line member Brian Kelley to perform at Daytona Chamber event

DAYTONA BEACH ― Nashville recording artist and Ormond Beach native Brian Kelley will perform some of his new songs at the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce's 104th Annual Meeting at Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Feb. 2.

The chamber last week confirmed that Kelley, formerly of the hit country music duo Florida Georgia Line, will conclude his talk as the event's keynote speaker with a half-hour acoustic performance accompanied by some of his current bandmates. Kelley is now pursuing a career as a solo singer-songwriter and is in the process of recording a new album.

"We're very excited to have Brian Kelley join us for the 104th Annual Meeting presented by Halifax Health to talk about his business endeavors and music," said Nancy Keefer, the chamber's CEO. "To hear him perform some of his new songs that are inspired by his local roots is going to be really special for our attendees."

What will his keynote address be about?

Kelley's keynote address will center around his entrepreneurial endeavors, his approach to business, and how growing up in Volusia County influenced him. Following the conversation, he will treat attendees to a 30-minute acoustic performance featuring his new music, some of which draws its inspiration from growing up in Volusia County going to the beach, playing baseball, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. His talk will be in a fireside chat format with Mike Sibley, the chamber's new board chair for 2024.
