Former Fresno State WR goes crazy in Washington State’s win over Oregon State

Former San Joaquin Memorial standout Josh Kelly had a big game against Oregon State on Saturday night.

Kelly finished the game with three touchdowns and had eight receptions for 159 yards in Washington State’s 38-35 victory over the Beavers.

“The team obviously put me in a situation to where you know I can make plays and just coming up and making those plays for the guys man it just felt good getting the love from the teammates, getting love from everybody,” Kelly told reporters.

Kelly played in six games with Fresno State last season and missed the LA Bowl because of an injury when the Bulldogs defeated Washington State at SoFi Stadium.

Kelly later transferred to Washington State.

In Saturday’s game, he had a one-handed reception and broke several tackles to play a big role in the Cougars’ victory.

“That’s what really started getting me going,” Kelly said. “I mean, once I pulled that one in, I just felt like it was time to go the rest of the day.”
