Former Georgia Lady Bulldog Maya Caldwell dazzles in WNBA debut with Atlanta Dream
Maya Caldwell couldn't have dreamed of a better WNBA debut.
The former Georgia women's basketball star was electric for the Atlanta Dream, leading the team in scoring with 18 points, while also racking up four assists, two steals and an assist on way to an 80-75 win against the Dallas Wings.
Caldwell went through training camp with the Dream before being cut on May 5, two days before the WNBA season tipped off. She was brought back on a hardship waiver Monday.
