Former Hollyoaks star Nathan Sussex has married his fiancé Jemajesty Lloyd.

Previously starring as villainous football coach Buster Smith on the Channel 4 soap, Sussex married his long-term partner in a country house in Somerset on August 27.

Sussex took to Instagram to share a few shots from the day and a video of the main event, which a few of his celebrity pals — including Carol Vorderman and BBC Radio 2 DJ Owain Wyn Evans — attended.

In a professional clip from their videographer, Sussex and his husband celebrate their wedding day with friends and family in what he calls "a wedding teaser trailer".

The video also shows the happy couple enjoying a fireworks display and, at one point, taking a trip in a helicopter.

In an Instagram post of her own, Vorderman shared a few selfies from the wedding and congratulated the couple.

"All present and correct for the wedding of the year....our Nathan @natsus1 marrying his Jamie.....tears from all of us and a lot of amazing surprises," she captioned the post.

"With mein CYNTAFFFFFF dahhhhhhlinggg @owainwynevans and his Arran....our superman producer Paul and our beautiful @bridgec_3.

"Nathan and Jamie are so in love, wish the two of you every happiness in the world. Wonderful....more pics follow."

"What a AMAZING day and night! Thank you so much and congrats to the newly weds @natsus1 @jemajestylloyd," Ellis captioned her post.
