Former Home and Away star Luke Jacobz has announced that his wife Raychel is expecting a baby after getting married last month.

Sharing the happy news that he and his wife are expecting a baby via Instagram, Jacobz posted a photo of himself beaming beside Raychel's bump.

In the photo the couple's dog Dash can be seen licking Raychel's pregnant belly which is obscured by a baby vest which reads: "And then there were four."

"2023 has been quite the year! Wedding in June and a baby in November," Jacobz captioned the post. "We already have so much love in our home and can't wait to welcome our bundle of joy. I'm so in awe of my incredible wife! She's doing such a great job!"

Among those to congratulate the couple on their news was former Home and Away star Danni Minogue who wrote: "Congratulations."

"Omg how fantastic! Congrats babes," wrote fellow Home and Away actor Emily Weir.

Jacobz and Stuart finally tied the knot last month after postponing their wedding twice due to Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns.

In an interview with New Idea, Jacobz, who starred as police officer Angelo Rosetta in the Australian soap between 2008 and 2011 before making a brief return in 2020, admitted that he had begun to lose hope of ever marrying his partner.

When the wedding was finally in full swing, Jacobz said he became so emotional when waiting at the end of the aisle for Raychel that he used up all of the tissues.

"I was a mess," he said. "When I saw Raychel I just lost it because we've been waiting so long for it to happen. I ended up using all the tissues, and not Raychel which was part of the plan."
