Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, husband Paul Pelosi spotted at Vanity Fair Oscar Party
WASHINGTON—Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul Pelosi, were spotted after the Oscars Sunday night among the A-list movie and television celebrities.
The Pelosis attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party after "Everything Everywhere All At Once" swept the contest and earned seven Academy Awards. That includes a historic win for Michelle Yeoh, who became the first Asian woman to win the best actress award.
They walked the carpet, with the former speaker donning a gold, floral-sequined gown; Paul Pelosi wore a black tuxedo and fedora.
His hat is a lingering sign of an Oct. 28 crime, when hammer-wielding intruder David DePape broke into their San Francisco home and attacked Paul Pelosi. DePape was charged with attempted murder. Pelosi spent about a week in the hospital for serious injuries, including a skull fracture, and recovery for surgeries to his head and hand.
About a month ago, Paul Pelosi was a guest of honor at President Joe Biden's State of the Union address Feb. 7, sitting near first lady Jill Biden and U2 frontman Bono.
