May 19—Former UConn forward Morgan Tuck has been named the Connecticut Sun's director of franchise development, the team announced Tuesday.

In a press release, the team said Tuck will help "bridge the gap between the court and the community to develop an integrated community, social justice and fan development plan for the Sun" in her new role.

Tuck played five seasons in the WNBA before announcing her retirement on March 15. She spent her first four seasons with the Sun before being traded to Seattle, where she won a WNBA Championship in 2020.

From 2012 to 2016, Tuck played with the Huskies, winning the national championship all four years.
