Former Law Enforcement Officer Says Brian Laundrie ‘Shouldn’t Have Been Able To Leave That House’

Gabby Petito, who was documenting her travels across the country with her fiancé, Brian Laundrie, was last seen with Laundrie on August 24, 2021. Laundrie returned to his parents’ home in Florida on September 1 – in Petito’s van but without her. Petito’s body was found in Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming on September 19. Laundrie, who had refused to speak to law enforcement and Petito’s family from the beginning – is now missing. Why weren’t authorities tracking Laundrie’s whereabouts? And why didn’t his parents call Petito’s parents when their son arrived home without the 22-year-old? Steve Kardian, a former law enforcement officer and FBI defense tactics instructor, and Nancy Grace, host of Crime Stories with Nancy Grace on Fox Nation, weigh in with their thoughts in the video above. On Wednesday's episode of Dr. Phil, "'Van Life' to Vanished: Inside Gabby Petito's Disappearance and Death," also hear from a criminal defense attorney and a body language expert, who weigh in on the unusual circumstances.
