Dylan St. Cyr is coming off a great year with Michigan State hockey where he was a graduate transfer goalie for the Spartans, getting an honorable All-Big Ten mention for his efforts.

Now, he will be getting a look in the AHL, where he was just signed by the Grand Rapids Griffins to an amateur try-out deal.

St. Cyr went 17-18-2 with the Spartans this season. Before that, he played at Quinnipiac and Notre Dame, where he helped the Fighting Irish win two big Ten tournament titles.
