Former Minneapolis officers will be tried together on federal charges in George Floyd’s death

Four former Minneapolis police officers will stand trial together on federal civil rights charges in the death of George Floyd. A U.S. magistrate judge has denied a request by three of the officers to be tried separately from Derek Chauvin, who was previously convicted in state court for Floyd’s murder.
