Jackman Pulled From "Music Man" Until Jan. 6

The remaining Broadway performances of "The Music Man" were canceled through Jan. 1 after star Hugh Jackman tested positive for COVID-19. He plans to return to the stage Jan. 6 once he's cleared. Storms Prompt State Of Emergency In Kentucky

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear declared a state of emergency New Year's Day after a powerful and severe weather system produced heavy rain, thunderstorms, tornadoes, hail and strong winds across most of the state. A tornado damaged businesses in downtown Hopkinsville and another touchdown in Taylor County splintered homes. 9-Time Superbowl Star Player, Coach Dies

Dan Reeves died New Year's Day at his home in Atlanta, Georgia, at the age of 77. He coached the Denver Broncos to three Super Bowls and the Atlanta Falcons to one; he also was a running back for the Dallas cowboys for eight seasons that included two Super Bowls trips and one win. School Smashed, Cars Flipped

A New Year's Eve tornado damaged a school, flipped cars and caused other destruction after it made a surprise appearance on the holiday.
