Former NFL player Antonio Brown goes viral after tossing pants to crowd outside Potbelly's

Former NFL wide receiver turned rapper Antonio Brown was spotted in Tallahassee Wednesday night following his rap concert at Potbelly's, a popular college hangout located near Florida State University.

However, his rapping performance isn't what's turning heads.

A video posted on Barstool FSU on "X" shows Brown taking off his pants and throwing them into the crowd before getting into a vehicle in just his underwear.

Barstool FSU posted a expletive-laden follow-up video showing that Brown had left his phone in the pants.

"Dude I have (expletive) Antonio Brown's phone right now," the young man in the video yells. "Look, Antonio Manager. I have his phone right now and his pants."

According to Potbelly's website, the concert started at 10 p.m. and Brown would take the stage at midnight. The bar advertised the event as "an unforgettable performance." Early bird tickets for the concert had sold out, according to the website.

Upon his arrival to Tallahassee, Brown posted multiple videos on "X" showing him partying with Florida State University students on the way to the concert.

During the concert, he invited fans wearing Pittsburgh Steelers gear, one of his former teams, onto the stage.

He also used the tagline "CTE: Catch That Energy" in multiple "X" posts.

What did Antonio Brown do?

Brown played in the NFL from 2010 to 2021, recording 13,209 receiving yards, and 85 touchdowns, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection and won the 2020 Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

His time in the NFL came to a dramatic ending on January 2, 2022, when the Buccaneers faced off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. In the middle of the third quarter, Brown took off his jersey, pads and gloves, threw them into the crowd and left the game.

On January 6, 2022, the Buccaneers released Brown and on March 2, 2023, he had announced he had retired from professional football. On April 28, 2023, he announced that he was unretiring.

Brown's actions on Wednesday add to the long list of antics and controversies involving the former NFL-er. Since 2018, he's had multiple lawsuits, arrests and controversies ranging from domestic violence to sexual assault.

In August, Brown claimed that the reason for his behavior was because of his CTE. CTE or Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy is a progressive and fatal brain disease associated with repeated traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), including concussions and blows to the head.
