Former Norfolk Sam’s Club — all 95,000 square feet — to become Old Time Pottery’s 1st Virginia store

The former 95,000-square-foot Sam’s Club in Norfolk will soon house the home decor superstore Old Time Pottery.

It will be the retailer’s first store in Virginia. Old Time Pottery was established in Tennessee in 1986.

Located at 741 E. Little Creek Road, the store will contain a variety of home and seasonal items including wall decor, rugs, home furnishings, housewares and bedding.

Old Time Pottery CEO Jason Schmitt said in a news release that customers will be able to browse the expansive store filled with tens of thousands of unique home decor items.

“We’re known for our seasonal decor, like fall, Halloween, Christmas and outdoor summer decor but we have one of the largest selections of home decor perfect for any time of year,” Schmitt said.
