Former Ohio State player Bo Hoag shoots 72 at US Open; sophomore Maxwell Moldovan cards 75
Former Ohio State player Bo Hoag shot a 2-over-par 72 Thursday at the U.S. Open and is tied for 57th place while current OSU sophomore Maxwell Moldovan is in 117th with a 5-over 75.
Adam Hadwin has the lead with a 4-under 66. Rory McIlroy is among five tied for second at 3-under.
Hoag, a 2011 OSU graduate from Upper Arlington, will tee off for the second round at 8:46 a.m. Friday at the tournament at Brookline in Massachusetts. Moldovan goes off at 6:56 a.m.
