Master Teague III's time with the Pittsburgh Steelers is complete.

The former Ohio State running back was waived Thursday to make room for former Washington State running back Max Borghi.

After signing with the team as an undrafted free agent Aug. 3, Teague's time with the Steelers has been eventful.

He made a highlight-reel play in a one-on-one drill against a Steelers defender, lowering a shoulder and trucked a defensive player, forcing him to the ground, while still remaining upright and in bounds.

This week, Teague was carted off the field during practice with a low ankle sprain. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Teague's status was "day-to-day."

Teague was previously signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent shortly after the 2022 NFL draft, but was cut after the team's three-day rookie camp.

Entering the Buckeyes' program as a four-star running back in the 2018 class, he amassed 1,764 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns, averaging 5.5 yards per carry. Teague was a second-team All-Big Ten selection in 2020 after being a member of the third team in 2019.

In his first three seasons, Teague helped Ohio State to three Big Ten Championships and played in two College Football Playoffs.
