Former Police Officer Kim Potter Guilty of Manslaughter in Death of Daunte Wright

Kim Potter, the former Minnesota police officer who fatally shot 20-year-old Daunte Wright during a traffic stop in April 2021, was found guilty of first and second degree manslaughter on Thursday, December 23.

Potter said she mistakenly drew her gun instead of a taser and fatally shot Wright.
