Former Shepherd Hill star Alec Lindstrom earns second All-ACC selection for Boston College

Former Shepherd Hill star Alec Lindstrom was one of 12 Boston College football players to earn a spot on the All-ACC team on Tuesday.

Lindstrom was named the ACC's top center for the second-straight season and is the Boston College center to earn All-ACC first team honors twice.

Lindstrom was rated as the No. 3 pass blocking center in the country, earning a 84.6 grade from Pro Football Focus. He allowed just one sack and two quarterback hits last year. ESPN draft analyst Todd McShay has him rated as the No. 5 center i the 2022 NFL Draft.

Lindstrom was joined on the All-ACC First team by guard Zion Johnson, who earned All-ACC accolades for the third time in his career and was named to the first team for the first time.

The Eagles placed three players on the All-ACC second team, including running back Pat Garwo, offensive guard Christian Mahogany and cornerback Josh DeBerry. Boston College also had three players selected to the All-ACC third team, including wide receiver Zay Flowers, offensive tackle Ben Petrula and cornerback Brandon Sebastian.

Offensive tackle Tyler Vrabel, tight end Trae Barry, defensive end Marcus Valdez and safety Jaiden Woodbey were all selected to the All-ACC honorable mention team.
