Former Sleep Train Arena in Natomas to become hospital

The Sacramento Kings and the city of Sacramento announced Wednesday that the former Sleep Train Arena is set to become the site of a hospital. The plan for the former home of the Kings includes 35 developable acres of land donated to California Northstate University for the construction of a medical school and teaching hospital, city officials announced at a news conference.
