Strictly Come Dancing favourite Dame Darcey Bussell stepped down from being a judge on the BBC show this year, and everyone is talking about who should replace her.

Former Hollyoaks star Danny Mac was on today's (May 26) Sunday Brunch to speak about his current musical ventures, but hosts Tim Lovejoy and (less successful Strictly contestant) Simon Rimmer couldn't help but ask Danny to throw a name into the ring.

"I think Oti [Mabuse] should," Mac said. "I know she wants another year, she wants to win it so if everyone could vote for her.

"She's amazing, I adore her. She's got the personality, the love and the passion and the drive for it. I think she'd be great and I think all the other dancers really respect her as well. They would still quite happily take criticism from her, and I think it'd be a really good dynamic."

Simon agreed that Oti would be a great choice, while Tim Lovejoy said that he's going to do Strictly this year and plans to win the whole thing with her.

But although Oti has progressed her career by becoming a judge on The Greatest Dancer this year, she has admitted that she wouldn't want to step into Darcey's shoes and would rather be on the dancefloor.
