Former Ukrainian President Yushchenko reveals where his son Taras pursues higher education

Taras Yushchenko, former Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko’s son, is currently in his second year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the ex-president said in an interview with journalist Natalia Moseichuk.
“Taras Viktorovych is involved in rockets, airplanes, and the third project – restoration of the Ukrainian Dream, the one in Hostomel. It’s challenging. There are five exams every week.”
“It’s the premier university in the world, not just in engineering. He calls every day, feeling homesick. I check if he went to bed,” said Yushchenko.
The former politician also shared information about his daughters, Hrystyna and Sofiia.
“They are self-sufficient, intelligent, humanitarian,” added Yushchenko, who currently resides in the village of Novi Bezradychi in Kyiv Oblast.
In February 2023, Yushchenko admitted to living separately from his wife and daughters. From his first marriage, the ex-president has a daughter, Vitalina, a son, Andrii, and five grandchildren.
After completing school, Taras Yushchenko entered the top 1% of the world’s brightest children.
“There is an international school protocol where students going to higher education submit their certificates to a single project that evaluates them.”
“And according to this system, my child falls into the top 1% of the brightest children in the world. The top 10 universities in the world sent him their offers,” Yushchenko previously said in an interview with Yehor Hordeyev.
