Former WWE Superstar, CM Punk Debuts on 'WWE Backstage,' Comedian Gabriel Iglesias Delivers a Promo

Last night, the episode of 'WWE Backstage' ended with a surprising guest debut of a former WWE Superstar. Fans have been waiting for the past couple of years for this and it finally happened. CM Punk made his debut minutes before the show ended and had this to say:

“It’s as simple as this: Just when they think they’ve got the answers, I change the culture,” Punk told the camera, before adding, “I’ll see you here next week.”

For any WWE fan or CM Punk fan this is a huge deal.

CM Punk walked out to Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality,” which was his entrance music during his years in WWE. His appearance even shock WWE Superstar, Paige. She is the representation of how WWE fans are feeling.

FOX on Twitter confirmed that CM Punk will be making weekly appearances on the show. CM Punk debuted on WWE. The fans on social media can't keep their cool and made his debut trending on Twitter.

In the ring, CM Punk became one of the most popular wrestlers during his years. His gimmick was a straight edge, outspoken, sharp-tongued character who resonated with the fans. He spoke the truth about the main rosters and WWE. In 2014, CM Punk left the company after disagreements with the company's CEO, Vince McMahon.

He then decided to pursue a career in UFC in the welterweight division. CM Punk is not the only celebrity guest appearance on the show last night.

Comedian Gabriel Iglesias, also known as Fluffy, was a student of the show 'Promo School'. This is not the first time Iglesias has guest appeared with WWE. He is even a huge wrestling fan and Renee asked him some questions to test his knowledge.

With the judges being Renee Young, Booker T., Adam Cole and Paige, Iglesias had to bring the heat. A good promo isn't always done alone. Iglesias delivered his promo against Samoa Joe and Iglesias brought some serious skills to the table.

Iglesias stuck to his story by grilling Samoa Joe even while the judges were giving scores. He received high A and B scores from the judges. Although, Samoa Joe didn't back down and also delivered an incredible promo. It even resulted in a mic drop form Iglesias.
