On Wednesday's episode of "Jeopardy!" not only did reigning champion Amy Schneider's reign of dominance come to an end after a remarkable 40-game win streak, but "The Carolinas" was a featured category and had an answer about Fort Bragg.

Rhone Talsma, a Chicago librarian, uncovered the clue, which was also a Daily Double on the board.

The clue read: “This army post northwest of Fayetteville boasts of being 'Home of the Airborne & Special Operations Forces.'"

His guess?

"What is Fort Smith?"

Swing and a miss.

While Talsma did not guess the Fort Bragg clue correctly, he did go on to unseat Schneider as champion.

'Jeopardy!': Amy Schneider defeated after 40 games. The moment she knew 'I was in trouble'

Schneider, who is transgender, gained notoriety during her run not only as an LGBTQ+ role model, but also as the winningest woman in "Jeopardy!" history.

Fellow "Jeopardy!" savant and guest host Ken Jennings wrote on Twitter that Schneider played the game with "unflappable ease."

Perhaps Schneider would have known the Fort Bragg clue if she'd uncovered the Daily Double instead.
