Fort Collins again waiving Saturday, holiday parking fees in Old Town to support businesses

If you’re heading to Old Town Fort Collins this winter for holiday dining or shopping, make the trip on a weekend or holiday to get free parking in city structures.

The city will again offer free parking in three city parking structures — Firehouse Alley Parking Structure, Old Town Parking Structure and Civic Center Parking Structure — on Saturdays and holidays this year to help support downtown businesses. Parking is already free on Sundays.

The free Saturday parking will start Saturday, Nov. 26, and continue through Dec. 31. Parking will also be free on city holidays, including Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas (observed Monday, Dec. 26) and New Year’s Day (observed Monday, Jan. 2).

On other days, parking is free for the first hour and $1 each hour after in all structures. Payment can be made in kiosks located in the structures or through the ParkMobile app.
